The Quail still present in the barley field near Common lane this evening, calling well despite the rain (JF Copeland).

Herriott's: a Lesser Yellowlegs on the pool this morning (R Mielcarek et al) and still present into the evening. Only 4th Avon record following others in 1967, 1984 and 2006.
A Little Egret, 3 Green Sandpiper, a Yellow-legged Gull and a Kingfisher also nearby.
Twycross: 7 Little Ringed Plover and 3 Greenshank here (S Davies).
