CHIPPING SODBURY:
The Woodchat Shrike still present into the afternoon.

SEVERNSIDE: J Martin, per severnsidebirds
Aust Warth: 3 Common Sandpiper

New Passage: 9 Oystercatcher, 11 Ringed Plover, 160 Dunlin, 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Whimbrel, 30 Redshank, 50 Turnstone, a juvenile Mediterranean Gull and a Kingfisher.

PORTISHEAD: B Atkinson
An adult Mediterranean Gull at the sea-front today.

BRISTOL: K Williams
Clifton: 2 Swifts today over Canynge Rd area 

BARROW TANKS: S Hale
No.3: 2 Mute Swan, c.120+ Tufted Duck (+1 brood), 2 Pochard, c.150+ Coot and 4 Common Sandpiper.

CHEW VALLEY LAKE: S Hale, M Parsons
Heron's Green: an immature Marsh Harrier (1.30pm), 2 Ringed Plover, 33 Lapwing, 2 adult Dunlin, 3 Greenshank, 10 Green Sandpiper and 2 Common Sandpiper.

Herriott's: 3 Black-tailed Godwit on the pool.

Elsewhere, at least 10 Little Egret around the lake.

BLAGDON LAKE: per BL birds
The male Ferruginous Duck, 915 Tufted Duck, the female Goldeneye, the Black-necked Grebe, single Little Egret, a juvenile Marsh Harrier (2pm, cf CVL), 4 Common Sandpiper, a Siskin and 50+ Linnet.

LOWER WOODS (south Glos) 2/8/11: K Williams
News just in - a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker here. Almost an Avon rarity these days.
