Lots of sandpipers on show around the various scrapes and pools today.

OLDBURY POWER STATION: per opsbirding
2 Egret sp upriver, 6 Ringed Plover, 3 Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpiper and 3 Wheatear of note.

15 Shelduck, single Little Egret, 6 Oystercatcher, 8 Ringed Plover (no August influx yet), 100 Dunlin, 18 Curlew, 2 Whimbrel, 3 Common Sandpiper, 34 Redshank, 38 Turnstone, 2 Mediterranean Gull, 300 BH Gull, 2 Blackcap, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Whitethroat, 1 Redstart, 4 Yellow Wagtail and singles of Swift and Sand Martin.
Severn Beach: 2 Lesser Whitethroat and a Wheatear of note.
