For the record, 240 Ringed Plover, 160 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank and 63 Turnstone.
The big tide forced most of these waders to roost at Avonmouth but then they dispersed across the river Avon to Portbury on the ebb tide.

These birds have been hanging around the dock for a few weeks now.
